Mele Kalikimaka...

The Hawaiian way to say Merry Christmas!
On this Christmas Eve morning, I'm here at work, thinking about how I'd like to have this year's holiday off and be spending it with my new husband. Alas, that is not the case this year, but maybe someday (she says hopefully)!!!

So I draw inspiration by listening to Bing Crosby's beautiful song called Mele Kalikimaka and remember the most amazing 2 weeks of my life that just occurred a few months ago when we spent that time together on our honeymoon in Hawaii.

If you stop by the blog today, I hope you're enjoying a wonderful Christmas Eve and that you have a very Merry Christmas this year!

Mele Kalikimaka to you, too, Lenna! I am at work, too, today; and I can't help but think back on Christmas Eve afternoons of days gone by when we'd go to Grandma & Grandpa Shaw's to visit and you all would be surrounded by her many, many beautiful dolls! Those are such good memories, (except the part of me worrying that something might get broken!)!! Love & Aloha,
Mom

Ugh I know what you mean. I'm at work today too and my hubs is in London. I will also think about my honeymoon since you are inspiring us...and dream of when I'll see him again (end of Jan!). Merry Christmas to you both. Love, D
